Barbara Garvin, MS, LMFT
As a Marriage and Family Therapist my approach is systemic and strength-based. I believe in human connection as the most important factor to our own happiness and the health of families and communities.

My passion is to provide a safe space for emotional work, self-exploration, and conflict resolution in order to foster understanding, communication and healthy attachments. I work with teens, adults, couples, and families on a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, conflict, and trauma.

I like to utilize the power of personal stories - listening to them, understanding them, creating and rewriting them, in order to empower those who live them.
FEES AND PAYMENT
Session Fees
$150 per 50 min Session
$200 per 90 min Session

Intake - $200 per 90 min Session
​
Free 30 min Meet & Greet upon request - it is important to make sure your therapist is a good fit for you!

Cancellations:
24+ hours notice - no fee
23 or less hours notice - half session fee
No call/no show - full session fee

Payment Options
Cash, check, and all major credit cards
Due at the beginning of each session unless otherwise negotiated

At this time, I am an in-network provider with First Choice Health and Premera Blue Cross.
​
I bill all other insurance companies as an out-of-network provider and will provide a receipt for you to submit for possible reimbursement.
Most insurance plans cover at least a portion of the cost for counseling.
